Q-Master System. The best Video test solution.

QoE Systems ’ Q-Master System (Video version) measurers the video and audio quality aspects of video streaming and video telephony communication devices or channels. Q-Master uses perceptual analysis capabilities as defined by ITU-T. The result of the measurement is a VMOS (Video Mean Opinion Score); to interpret end-to-end quality of video. The output includes information such as block distortion, blurring, edge busyness, jerkiness, PSNR and noise. The related audio quality and video/audio synchronization is also analyzed. Audio quality assessment provides a standard MOS score, while the important lip synchronization correlates timing identical as in human perception.

The Q-Master system facilitates the sending and receiving of video streams either from its internal Darwin Server, or any streaming server on the network. This allows developers and operators to assess the correct functioning of networks and/or devices such as codecs, transcoders, gateways, etc.

The Q-Master System includes dedicated hardware with a variety of available network and device interfaces. It facilitates the sending and receiving of signals over Ethernet VoIP channels, Analog Line, S-Video, or with a camera adaptor.

The Q-Master GUI operates in a Windows environment, where the user interface provides a simple yet full featured test process environment that allows quick and comprehensive quality assessment measurements. The measurement results can be stored, reviewed, printed and exported.

The Q-Master can be deployed both locally as well as remotely connecting with Ethernet/LAN for control.

Measure quality with perceptual algorithm
Quality assessment of video streaming and video telephony is done with QoE Systems ’ VMOS algorithm. The output is a Video Mean Opinion Score value combined with information such as block distortion, blurring, edge busyness, jerkiness, PSNR and noise. Available audio quality assessment provides a standard MOS score and lip synchronization analysis identical as in human perception.

Easy-to-use, Windows-based user interface
A Windows based user interface provides a simple yet full-featured test environment allowing fast and comprehensive quality assessment measurements.

Graphical presentation of all measurements
The graphical view includes the capability to see side-by side and frame-by-frame the original and resulting video. The measurement results for each individual frame can be selected in the display window.

Internal video server available
The Q-Master system facilitates the sending and receiving of video streams either from its internal Darwin Server, or any streaming server on the network.

Unique camera interface
QoE Systems provides a unique camera interface with the Q-Master system. This allows the user to capture the actual display as show to the end user.
