QoE SYSTEMS LAUNCHES Q-MASTER VIDEO V 1.7 VIDEO QUALITY ANALYZER FOR NEXT GENERATION VIDEO SERVICES
June 2,’08: QoE Systems Inc., today launched its Q-Master™ Video v 1.7 video quality test and measurement analyzer designed for network development engineers within NEMs and Service Providers that need to test, measure and analyze the video quality generated and received by their multimedia products. A tool for lab environments it uses industry standard perceptual analysis to generate a MOS quality rating that represents the end-user’s perception of quality from the device under test. This enables designers to accurately assess the quality of video produced by devices including codecs, echo-cancellers, transcoders, gateways, set top boxes and other types of video networking equipment.
The system has two main components – an I/O interface unit and a remote access application. The analyzer is easily portable and can be configured for analog or digital origination or termination using 10/100/1000 Ethernet, S-Video, Composite Video and Component Video (YPrPb). A remote access application will run on any Windows-based PC and communicates with the analyzer through Ethernet. This approach means that the analyzer can be installed anywhere in the network and be controlled by any authorized client PC. There is also a software only solution available which is file based only.
